Creative BC Society brings together the operations of the BC Film Commission and BC Film + Media.  It fosters domestic film production and administers the provincial tax credit program on behalf of the provincial government. It is a private, non-profit society that operates at arms-length from government and reports to a Board of Directors. The Society receives a majority of its operating funding from the provincial government through the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training.
