Tax Incentives
Foreign and domestic productions in British Columbia can access a variety of provincial and federal tax credit programs and if eligibility requirements are met, a producer can combine them to access exceptional savings.
BC Film

British Columbia Film Development Society fosters domestic film production and administers the provincial tax credit program on behalf of the provincial government. It is a private, non-profit society that operates at arms-length from government and reports to a Board of Directors. The Society receives a majority of its operating funding from the provincial government through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts.
