Green Lit Projects
Producers and Location Managers use the Production Services Department and the Community Affairs Department for production research and information, location expertise, and assistance with additional support and technical services.
Work Permits for Film and Entertainment
All non-Canadian cast and crew, other than producers, must attain a work permit before entering Canada to work on a project.  In most cases, employers hiring foreign workers must get a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) from Service Canada in advance of applying for a work permit.

To assist employers, we have provided a Film and Entertainment Cover Sheet to be included with the LMO Application Form for each foreign worker.  This will also assist Service Canada in expediting your application in a timely manner.
