Former Lynn Valley Public Library Available for Filming
A rare opportunity for film production in the Lower Mainland has opened up in the District of North Vancouver. The former Lynn Valley Public Library is now available as a film location until future development plans are determined.
The former Lynn Valley Library has two floors available for filming and each floor is approximately 10,000 sq.ft. with convenient elevator access. There is lots of parking available for catering and equipment trucks on both sides of the library, with more crew parking available for rent at the Lynn Valley Shopping Centre located adjacent to the library.
Newly constructed on the main floor is a 6,130 sq.ft film set, created as an art deco style Chicago police station with full crew and camera access. The set includes three interrogation rooms, two bullpens, a police chief’s office with oak panels, and a front entrance with beautiful faux marble counter tops, a faux granite stairway, a large lobby and wide hallway areas.
