The first step in applying to film in British Columbia is to complete the online Production Registration Form or download and fax it to the British Columbia Film Commission AND the municipal Film Liaison Office or Regional Film Commission office for the area where you wish to work.
Every municipal government or region has guidelines regarding filming in its jurisdiction. This includes parking regulations and policies regarding late night activities and procedures for notification. Contact the film office in the area where you plan to film for their guidelines.
