Filmstalk Entertainment presents Vancouver's first Rain City 72 Hour Noir Film Competition

Filmstalk Entertainment presents Vancouver's first Rain City 72 Hour Noir Film Competition, from May 3rd to the 6th, 2007. This competition will be awarding over $4000 in prizes including a $1500 Cash Prize for Best Picture and a weekend rental package from William F. White and ProVision Rentals for Best Cinematography. Prizes will also be awarded to the Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Editing. Judging will be done by industry professional’s Charles Wilkinson (DGC, Capilano College), Sophie McGarry (Women in Film, Sofia-K Productions), plus three others. 

Screenings will be held at the fabulous Vancouver Film Centre on May 13th from 10am - 4:00pm followed by an awards ceremony at the Caprice Night Club starting at 8:00pm. The awards show will be open to the public and will feature the Top 5 short films of the competition as well guest musical and dance performers.

Early Bird registration is open now and is only $300. The new extended deadline for the Early Bird is April 16th, so get your teams together and register now!
