The Indie Fest is an independent, top-tier international film awards competition. We invite entries from students and faculty. Indie Fest's goal is to help independent filmmakers advance their careers, gain publicity and, when appropriate, exposure to distributors.
The Indie Fest is unique; it's an awards competition. Entries are judged on quality of craft and creativity of storytelling. The Indie Fest is a showcase for cinematic gems and unique voices.
The Indie Fest's has seasonal deadlines/judging and grants awards as appropriate within four to six weeks after each deadline. information about such topics as how to find a distributor. Each year the Indie Fest offers a $1,000 cash prize selected from among the Indie Fest winners. Random Original, one of our sponsors, generously providing a production studio opportunity valued at $1,500 to one Indie Fest winning filmmaker each year. And most recently GreenHouse Studios in Burbank, California, is sponsoring a post-production prize each year valued up to $10,100. Perhaps most important of all is the award of the Indie Fest's annual humanitarian award.
