Digital Media Production Program

October 28, 2010, Ottawa– The Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Digital Media Production Program.

This hands-on training program will offer 40 post-secondary graduate youth the opportunity to gain work experience in the film, television and interactive media production industry.  Funded by the Government of Canada’s Career Focus Program, the Digital Media Production Program emphasizes administration, management and technical skills in today’s rapidly changing knowledge economy in the digital world.

“Working with an active production company for a six month period is an unparalleled experience,” said Susanne Vaas, VP of Business Affairs & Recording Secretary, CMPA.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers in the screen-based production industry,”
