 Join pitching coach Mickey Rogers and a panel of industry representatives for an intense one day workshop on the art of pitching.  In the morning session, Mickey will cover how to pitch, pitch materials, the sizzle reel, and how to incorporate multi-platforms into your pitch. In the afternoon, practise your pitch (features welcome, as well) in front of established producers who will give you feedback and guidance on your presentation. (Please note, due to time constraints, we will only have time for 12 pitches at 10 minutes each. When you register, please indicate whether you will be wanting a pitch session.)

Mickey is an entrepreneur, broadcaster, producer and distributor. She has over 20 award winning years in the media business and knows what it takes to launch a profitable project into the Canadian and international market place. With her strategic knowledge and complete honesty, Mickey will work with you to present your ideas clearly and persuasively.

Through her company, Mickey Rogers Media, Mickey leads success workshops for executive women in Vancouver and has helped women, with great skills and accomplishments, to set and achieve goals they saw as impossible. She is a founding partner of Forefront Entertainment, growing the enterprise from a few hundred dollars to revenue highs of $14 million.  She is also an Associate Coach at the University of British Columbia.

As a global media strategist to clients such as Martha Stewart Omnimedia, Corus Entertainment, Creative Business Wales and the National Screen Institute, Mickey has dramatically expanded her clients’ international business opportunities.  She has negotiated multi-million dollar deals, facilitated strategic partnerships, and created successful marketing plan.
